Personal Information Provided directly by You: Name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, professional title, company name, and payment billing information during event registration or contact form submission.
Information Collected via Meta (Facebook) Platform / Login: If you sign in using Meta/Facebook or grant our application permissions, we may collect your public profile information (such as your full name, profile picture, and user ID) and email address, subject to your explicit consent.
Automated Usage Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, device information, and interactions on our website via cookies or tracking pixels.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your Personal Data for the following purposes:
To register and manage your access to events (such as the Capital Connect Conclave).
To send event confirmations, updates, and venue information via WhatsApp, SMS, or Email.
To verify your identity and facilitate authentic interactions across our platforms.
To improve website performance, marketing efficiency, and user experience.
Profile answers and activity: answers you give in event registration forms (such as your role, startup stage, sector and what you are looking for) update your member profile and help us plan relevant events and introductions. For signed-in members we record activity on the platform (pages and events viewed, bookings, messages sent) without storing IP addresses; for visitors we only count page views anonymously. Activity records are kept for 13 months. Other members can see when you were last active on the platform ("Online" or "Last seen …") in messages and on your profile; this is on by default and you can switch it off at any time in Settings → Privacy. Sensitive answers (such as revenue, funding or contact details) are never sent to general-purpose AI services.
Mobile number confirmation: We confirm mobile numbers with a one-time code sent through Google Firebase.
To comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share data only under the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our site, processing payments (e.g., Razorpay), or delivering WhatsApp/email communications (e.g., RefLyst AI).

4. Meta Data Handling and Privacy Policy Compliance
In compliance with Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies:
We only request Meta permissions (e.g., public profile, email) strictly necessary to run our application and authenticate user access.
We do not transfer Meta user data to ad networks, data brokers, or information resellers.
Data obtained via Meta APIs is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary to provide service to you.

6. User Data Deletion Request (Facebook / Meta Integration)
If you signed in using Meta/Facebook or wish to remove your personal data from Startup Synerz Global, you can request data deletion at any time by following these steps:
Send an email titled "Data Deletion Request" to support@startupsynerz.com from the email address associated with your account.
Alternatively, go to your Facebook Account’s Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites, select Startup Synerz, and click Remove. Click View Removed Apps and Websites and send a deletion request through the provided link.
Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete your account data within 30 days and send a confirmation notice.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (including the Meta Pixel) to analyze site traffic, personalize content, and measure campaign effectiveness. You can manage or disable cookie preferences through your browser settings. Our own cookie keeps you signed in and counts visits; we do not use it for advertising and we do not sell data.
